She's been on the national TV show “Dance Moms," has a budding music career, and an accessory line.  Now, Omaha native JoJo Siwa wins a big award honoring her accomplishments in her short life.

Last week, the 13-year-old won the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for “Favorite Viral Music Artist.  Her song “Boomerang” has more than 200 million views on YouTube, and has been seen all over the world.

Her fame started by appearing on "Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition" and “Dance Moms” when she was 9.

Siwa now has a line of accessories at Claire's Fashion Jewelry and Accessories across the country including her signature bow.  She says the success has been amazing.

"It's so crazy I've always known that I've wanted it and I've always known I've had it in me,” JoJo explained. "Like I had my back up plan but it did happen and it's awesome. I just worked really hard for it."

JoJo and her mom are back from Los Angeles for some time to see people she's missed, and relax.

“It's just fun for me to get to hang out with my friends because I never get to see them so it's like a big family reunion,” JoJo described.

Her mom says it's a balance between work and home, and it's neat to watch her daughter's dreams come true.

"It's like every day is your wedding day where you're just trying to savor each moment because it's happening fast and it's so super exciting," said her mother Jess Siwa.

JoJo has signed a talent deal with Nickelodeon so she will be featured on shows, merchandise, and events.  Plus she will have a book coming out soon, and continue making music.
