Sarpy County deputies are investigating a deadly crash south of Springfield Wednesday night.
The crash happened near Highway 50 and Riha Road, about a half mile north of the Platte River around 9:30 p.m.
The Sarpy County Sheriff says the two cars hit nearly head on. A 15-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of that car, a 48-year-old woman, was taken by helicopter to Nebraska Medicine. The other a driver, a 22-year-old woman, was taken by ambulance to the hospital in critical condition.
