A funeral for Sydney Loofe has been scheduled for Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh, her hometown where her parents still live. Additionally, there will be a candlelight vigil for Loofe at the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
According to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald, investigators searched along Nebraska Highway 41 Wednesday. Highway 41 would be on a route of travel from Wilber to where a body thought to be Loofe's was found Monday in Clay County.
Wilber was the last place Loofe's cell phone pinged and is home to Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell, the two persons of interest in Loofe's disappearance. The pair have been on a federal hold in Saline County since last Friday.
