The Creighton men's basketball team sent off its seniors with a BIG EAST win over St. John's. The Bluejays defeated the Red Storm 82-68 for the last game at CenturyLink this season.
Creighton says goodbye to three seniors this year, Isaiah Zierden, Cole Huff and Zach Hanson. Zierden led the seniors with 12 points in the 82-68 win.
Creighton's Marcus Foster finished with 18 points to lead the Bluejays. Khyri Thomas closely followed recording his third double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The Bluejays held the lead the entire game but St. John's Shamori Ponds managed to score 16 points on the night. Ponds was the only St. John's player to finish in double-figures but Malik Ellison just missed the mark ending with 9 points.
Creighton (23-7, 10-7 BIG EAST) returns to action Saturday, March 4th against Marquette (17-11, 8-8 BIG EAST). Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wis.
