Creighton basketball suffered a hard-fought 87-81 road loss against BIG EAST opponent Seton Hall. The Jays fall to 21-5 overall and 8-5 in the BIG EAST this season.

One of the keys to victory for Seton Hall was the ability to get to the free throw line. The Pirates shot 72% from the free throw line on 39 free throw attempts. Another key for Seton Hall was the 12 offensive rebounds which led to 12 points. Creighton was out-rebounded on the defensive end 18-30.

Khadeen Carrington had a career game against Creighton, scoring 41 points on 10-15 from the field and 18-22 from the charity stripe. Seton Hall's Anfel Delgado added 17 points and grabbed 17 boards as well.

The Bluejays had four players in double figures, led by Marcus Foster's 23 points. The team's leading scorer also added six rebounds and six assists.

Up next for the Jays is a matchup against BIG EAST opponent Georgetown Sunday at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha. Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
