Former Creighton basketball player named assistant coach for Oklahoma City G-League team

Former Creighton basketball player Grant Gibbs has been named as an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder's G-League team, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Gibbs has spent the last three years playing overseas in Netherlands and Germany after graduating from Creighton.

The Iowa native tallied 7.6 points and and 4.9 assists per game with the Bluejays. Creighton made the NCAA tournament in each of Gibbs' seasons with the team.
