The University of Nebraska's decision to fire Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst has came about with no shortage of opinions from fans, media members, and even former Huskers athletes as well.
Former Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr., among others, voiced his opinion on Twitter after the news was announced.
"I'll say what most of us previous players wanted to say. From day 1 he didn't give us a good first impression def during that first meeting," Armstrong tweeted.
"When he fired Bo as a athlete you would want your boss to tell you before walking into a empty building with no clue of what happened. Then we got a email the day of saying it was all of a sudden and we will meet about it!! So we meet about it and never once got a explanation of what happened. All he said was expectations weren't met. But when asked what were The expectations he still didn't tell us what expectations we didn't meet. We took that as disrespectful so that's why we say what we say."
