According to ESPN, Oregon officials are monitoring the air quality from wildfires in the area ahead of Nebraska's game in Eugene against the Ducks.

Oregon cancelled a cross country event Thursday due to poor air quality.

The Pac 12 released a statement saying that they are monitoring the situation closely with both school's medical staff and athletic officials to determine if the quality of the air is good enough to play, or if kickoff times and dates would need to be modified.

"The universities playing the games make the ultimate decision and that will be made sometime Saturday morning," the statement said. "Depending on the situation, an event may be postponed or rescheduled if it is too dangerous to play."

Oregon moved its practice Thursday due to poor air quality.
