The Missouri Valley Conference is looking for a replacement for Wichita State, and Nebraska-Omaha could be a candidate.
According to a report from CBS's Dennis Dodd, Missouri Valley Conference officials will be on the campus of UNO today in an ongoing basketball search to replace the Shockers, who left to join the American Athletic Conference. Dodd said the meeting in Omaha was "characterized as an on-site inspection".

The MVC is no stranger to Omaha either. Creighton was a member of the Valley before heading to the BIG EAST in 2013.
