OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Vaping has become a popular alternative to smoking. However, some possible recent vaping related illnesses have bought to light some of the dangers vaping can bring.
Here in Nebraska, the state is tied with New York for the ninth-lowest amount of vape users in the country at 3.8 percent, according to QuoteWizard.com. Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Indiana are the top three states in terms of vaping. Connecticut, Vermont, and California have the least amount of vape usage.
Vapers could face a 50 percent increase in health insurace rates if they are classified as tobacco users.
