OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Connecting people to causes. That's the goal of a Shareomaha.org.

This new website brings the needs of non-profits right to the people who can help. People can either choose to donate time, money or items from a specific non-profit's wish list.

The Big Garden is just one of the 200 non-profits on the website. They say they are always in need of volunteers and having something like this up and running is a great asset to them.

Executive director of Shareomaha.org, Marjorie Maas says this is a one stop shop for anyone looking to give back. "We're trying to raise up the next generation of donors, but that doesn't mean just the next age group it means anybody who hasn't been involved in every day philanthropy that they can," she said.

Maas is hoping to get the word out by challenging people to share it forward.
