SCRIBNER, Neb. (KMTV) — A former teacher at Scribner-Snyder Community Schools is accused by police of sending inappropriate Snapchats to underage boys.

Police say 30-year-old Bradley Hegemann asked for and sent Snapchats to five juveniles between November of 2017 to early this December.

They also say he purchased alcohol for them multiple times.

Superintendent of Scribner-Snyder Ginger Meyer sent out a voicemail saying Hegemann taught at the school from August of 2014 to May of 2016.

Hegemann resigned his position at Hartington Cedar Catholic yesterday. Principal Christopher Uttecht said this was Hegemann's third year teaching English and coaching girls volleyball and basketball at the northeast Nebraska school.

Uttecht says HCC is cooperating with the investigation and to his knowledge, no students at the school had inappropriate contact.

He is charged with five counts of felony child abuse and five misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child.

Meyer told 3 News Now she is not sure if the boys involved were students at Scribner-Snyder.

She also said if anyone is aware of any other inappropriate conduct by Hegemann to contact Scribner Police.
