OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Celebrating its five-year anniversary this year, Step Up to Quality is the state of Nebraska’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). A QRIS helps states assess, improve and communicate the level of quality of early childhood programs.
On this week's Metro Blend, Jenny Fleming, Step Up to Quality Program Quality Specialist, drops in to share things parents can look for in quality education and care in an early childhood program.
Parents can learn more about Step Up to Quality and find a provider that is enrolled in the program at stepuptoquality.ne.gov. Providers can visit the same website, stepuptoquality.ne.gov, to learn more and enroll.
