OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — JobfairsNebraksa.com has made changes to a job fair planned for April 1 in response to restrictions in Omaha amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The job fair will instead be a drive-thru job fair at Comfort Inn and Suites at 7007 Grover St. in Omaha. The job fair will take place from 1p.m. to 4p.m. Applicants are instructed to drive-thru the designated area of the parking lot that will be set up and receive a bag full of job opportunities.

The employers will be providing flyers, applications, brochures and more in the bags. Applicants can then go through the information at home and apply with the instructions provided each employer.

"Employers are still hiring and they need you now even more than ever," the group said in a press release.

The group also offered several resources for those seeking jobs online:

  1. www.jobfairsNebraska.com JOBS board. Click on the JOBS tab and see all the employers who have jobs posted on the site. Click on the company you are interested in and you will be directed right to their open job postings. Now, you can even click on their logo and be directed right to that company's website. Fast, easy and great jobs!
  2. EBLAST. We send out monthly emails to every registered job seeker about upcoming job fairs in the community.
