OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The United States Postal Service (USPS) says they've deployed three mobile post offices to flood-struck communities across the state and that more are on the way.
USPS says the mobile solutions will allow customers to do all the things they normally do at the post office, including picking up mail that normally goes to flood-impacted offices.
You can find them at the following locations at the listed times:
St. Edward Mobile Post Office will open Mar. 27th and will be located at 1302 State Highway 39, St. Edward, NE. The unit will be staffed for Post Office Box Mail pick-up and retail transactions weekdays from 10:30 a.m.—2:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:30—10:30 a.m.
St. Edward customers who cannot collect their mail from the Mobile Unit can pick-up at the Albion Post Office is located at 310 W. Church St., Albion, NE. Hours of operation in Albion are weekdays 8—11 a.m. and Saturdays 8—10 a.m.
Osmond Mobile Post Office will open Mar. 26th and is located at 409 N State St., Osmond, NE. The unit will be staffed for Post Office Box Mail pick-up and retail transactions weekdays from 9 a.m.—1 p.m. and Saturday 9—10 a.m.
Osmond customers who cannot collect their mail from the Mobile Unit can pick-up at the Plainview Post Office located at 311 W. Locust Ave. Plainview, NE. Plainview hours of operation are weekdays 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 9:30—10:30 a.m.
Verdigre Mobile Post Office will open Mar. 26th and is located at 106 3rd Ave. Verdigre, NE. The unit will be staffed for Post Office Box Mail pick-up and retail transactions weekdays 9:30 a.m.—12 p.m. and 12:30—2 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m.—12 p.m.
Verdigre customers who cannot collect their mail from the Mobile Unit can pick-up at the Creighton Post Office located at 819 Main St. Creighton hours of operation are weekdays 8—11:30 a.m. and 12:30—4 p.m. and Saturdays 8—9 a.m.
