OMAHA, NEB. (KMTV) — If you like pizza and cream cheese, Copps Pizza Company near 72nd and Jones will likely be your new favorite hot spot.
Kris Copps, a Kansas City native, opened the establishment in November of 2019. Within weeks, his pizza gained popularity for its cream cheese sauce and eccentric pizzas.
"Our most popular pizzas right now are definitely the PorkMaster and the Burnt End. Part of it is because it has cream cheese sauce, and that's because not many people make something of that nature," said Copps. "We're really big on trying to create things that nobody has seen and taking something that's old school and creating something that's out of the box."
Besides pizza, Copps Pizza Company has other food items such as salads, appetizers, desserts, and wings. The restaurant also has gluten-free options.
Prices are reasonable but their best deal is their lunch special. For $10, you can enjoy an eight-inch, one-topping pizza with a side, which can be fries or a salad, and a drink.
Copps Pizza also has a delivery option for customers.
