Omaha Police investigate two overnight robberies

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are investigating two robberies that happened overnight.

The first took place at Midtown Gas and Grocery at 1349 Park Ave.

Officers responded to the robbery at 12:03 a.m. Saturday. Police talked with store employees who said suspects entered the store, displayed firearms, forced the clerks to open the register and took an undetermined amount of cash.

The second robbery occurred at Phillips 66 at 4926 Underwood Ave.

Officers responded at 11:41 p.m. Friday. Witnesses told police that two suspects entered the store, showed firearms and demanded money.

The suspects took the cash and fled.
