UPDATE AUGUST 20, 10:00 A.M.: The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office has identified the boy as Kingston Goracke. Goracke died at Children's Hospital Monday night.
ORIGINAL STORY
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says rescuers performed CPR on a 17-month-old boy in attempt to revive him after being found unresponsive in a backyard pool in La Vista on Sunday afternoon.
Medics arrived at the home near S. 104th St at approximately 12:30 p.m., later transporting the boy to Children's Hospital & Medical Center.
8/19/19 Update
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says the boy remains at the hospital in critical condition and that he and his family were visitors at the residence during the incident.
