EDMUNDSON, Mo. (KMTV) — The Edmundson Police Department says 16-year-old Gabriella Yonko is missing from the Edmundson, MO area and is believed to be with a 26-year-old man. The teen is believed to be in danger, according to authorities.

The abduction was reported at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Sept. 23. Yonko was last seen at her uncle's residence when the suspect, 26-year-old Chistopher Johnson, took her in his vehicle.

Johnson drives a black 2008 Lexus LS with Washington license plate BEC5322. The vehicle has a dark window front tint and no front plate.

Since Sept. 23, authorities pinged Johnson's phone, determining his last known location is in northern Illinois, just east of Chicago. Johnson has a long criminal history, police say, and is known to be physically violent.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is in the process of issuing an Endangered Person Alert.
