AURORA, Neb. (KMTV) - The Central District Health Department says coronavirus has killed 13 residents at Westfield Quality Care of Aurora since the start of the pandemic.
Overall, 33 residents have tested positive for coronavirus at the 64 bed nursing facility.
Officials with the Central District Health Department didn't have any immediate information on hospitalizations or the most recent death.
The Central District Health Department says a few other long-term care facilities in their region have had cases but nothing to the extent of Westfield Quality Care of Aurora. The Central District Health Department includes Hall, Hamilton and Merrick counties.
To date, there have been 54 total coronavirus cases in Hamilton County, the county in which the facility is located in.
