Nebraska National Guard deployed to help with coronavirus

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — More than a dozen Nebraska National Guard members were deployed yesterday with a specific mission, help the Food Bank for the Heartland.

More than 300 Army and Air Nebraska National Guard members are now working to support 14 different COVID-19 related missions.

Their work includes giving roughly 2,200 tests in potential hot spots, including the Kearney Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center and Grand Island.
