Three Rivers Health Dept. reports two new coronavirus cases

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Three Rivers Health Department, which serves Dodge, Saunders and Washington Counties, is reporting two additional coronavirus cases.

The department says the first case is a Dodge County resident in his 30s who is believed to have contracted the virus through the community. This is the 18th case in Dodge County.

The second case is a Washington County resident in her 50s who is believed to have acquired the virus while traveling. It's the 21st case in Washington County.

The department wants to remind people to avoid travel and stay home to avoid spreading coronavirus further. Both people are in quarantine, as are their close contacts. They will be monitored for symptoms of the virus.
