Law enforcement from three local agencies, in concurrence with National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, attempted to serve outstanding warrants on suspects at 70 separate locations Thursday morning, making 29 arrests before the operation concluded, according to a Sarpy County Sheriff's Department press release.
Sarpy and Douglas county sheriff's offices in conjunction with the Omaha Police Department attempted to serve outstanding arrest warrants on suspects for charges including domestic violence, violation of domestic protection orders, and child support violations, the release states.
The operation coincided with a larger observance of the issue this week, and specifically Thursday.
