The Nebraska Insurance Department’s new numbers show about 82,000 Nebraskans will have to shell out more for individual health insurance next year.
The increase comes from a Blue Cross decision not to offer policies on the federal health care exchange.
According to our news partners at theOmaha World-Herald, that extra increases will push premiums up from their 2016 rates.
That’s a little more than 40 percent for Aetna health and 55 percent for medical health.
