Officials at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo say zookeepers will be giving the animals special treats throughout the day on Thanksgiving.
The Zoo will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The schedule for feedings will be on the zoo map, officials say.
The newest additions to the zoo, three giraffes named Zola, Layla and Annabelle, will be on display in the new Giraffe Herd Rooms.
The Zoo first opened for Thanksgiving Day in 2012.
HOLIDAY HOURS: We'll be OPEN on Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., our normal winter hours. In the mean time, we'll be feasting some more.
