A 67-year-old woman died in a crash that investigators believed was caused by a drunk driver.
Police booked Vismar Carmona-Martinez, 19, on felony motor vehicle homicide charges after giving him a breathalyzer test. According to police, Carmona-Martinez was speeding on Highway 75 northbound when he rear-ended a small car in South Omaha just after midnight.
The driver of the small car was identified as Ann Smock.
Investigators closed 75 northbound for close to three hours on New Year's Day.
