Roy Smith, a janitor at Omaha Burke High School, says he is surprised by the attention he's received since a video of him singing with the school band went viral.

He says even with his recent fame, it's still about the kids.
"I try to play a role like a father figure or grandfather figure to the students because some don't have that luxury to have that kind of surrounding in their homes," Smith said.
"If I could be a role for them, that's what it's all about," he added.
News of his talent has been shared in China and Great Britain. Film crews from "Inside Edition" were also at Sunday's performance.
