Bailey Boswell, a suspect in the death of SydneyLoofe, has been sentenced to five years in prison for defrauding a Kansas couple out of close to $400,000 using gold coins and bars.

Boswell and the other suspect in Loofe's death, 51-year-old Aubrey Trail, crossed the Kansas/Nebraska state line — or persuaded one or both victims to do so — on 13 different occasions between May 2016 and November 2017, according to court documents.

Later in the day, Trail was sentenced to 10 years.

Earlier this week, court documents stated prosecutors would seek the death penalty for Boswell for her role in Loofe's death.
