A Nebraska Senator is still in the spotlight as the Supreme Court nomination drama surrounding Brett Kavanaugh continue.
Sen. Ben Sasse spoke on the Senate Floor Wednesday and criticized the political nature of the process and also said he urged the President to nominate a woman before Kavanaugh was chosen.
Sasse also called attorney Michael Avenatti, who is representing a Kavanaugh accuser, a "one-man clown show" but acknowledged that "not being down with the circus is the not the same as indifferent to the complexities of the Me Too movement."
President Trump remains supportive of Kavanaugh and said he expects him to be confirmed.
