The Big Ten baseball tournament will be held in Omaha in six of the next seven years.
The conference announced Tuesday that the tournament will be held at TD Ameritrade Park, the home of the College World Series each year starting in 2018 through 2022. This year's tournament will also be held at TD Ameritrade Park next month.
The tournament shattered attendance records the only previous time it was held in Omaha in 2014. The crowd of 19,965 for the championship game was the largest single-game conference tournament attendance in NCAA history. The five-day total of 62,020 was by far the largest ever for a Big Ten tournament.
The site of the 2017 tournament will be announced later.
