A judge set bond for a man accused of opening fire in a west Omaha bar and later firing at officers at $10 million.
Dwight Rodgers, 63, was in court Friday morning to face 14 charges, including five counts of attempted murder, two counts of terroristic threats, seven counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony and felony criminal mischief.
Prosecutors said two people were inside the Parliament Pub at 168th and West Center Road when Rodgers entered the bar around 2 p.m. and opened fire.
When officers were able to locate him at a nearby apartment, Rodgers opened fire again and was “shooting to kill,” according to the prosecution.
An attorney for Rodgers told the court his client suffers from depression.
