OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Yesterday, while on trial for murder, Aubrey Trail slashed his throat after shouting, "Bailey is innocent and I curse you all." Today he's not in court.

3 News Now Reporter Jake Wasikowski tells us Trail voluntarily waived his appearance to appear today. Each day they will be taking up the issue as to whether or not he wants to show up.
In regards to his self-inflicted injury, he has left the hospital after receiving stitches and is recovering in his cell.
