It's about taking the best of both worlds to help someone else in need.

At “Brew Haha,” good food and drinks can help make a family’s dream come true in building their home.

Proceeds will build an entire house for a family that'll pay for the full appraised value, property taxes, building supplies and insurance, according to Kathy Roum, senior director of development and marketing at Habitat for Humanity Omaha.

The organization will host its 11th annual event at Stinson Park from 5 to 9 p.m. where more than 60 local breweries and restaurants will participate.

In total, 26 breweries from Nebraska and around the Midwest will be at there and they will be joined by 30 restaurants.

Advanced tickets are $50 and $60 at the door.

If you need a designated driver, you can purchase one for $25 in advanced or $30 at the door.

All of the proceeds raised Thursday will go right into building a home for a family, Roum says.

The Shenanigans will also perform.
