OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Oracle of Omaha is back in the headlines. This time, it's for giving money away, not making money.

Warren Buffett pledged yesterday to give $3.6 billion in Berkshire Hathaway stock to five charitable foundations. The donation is his largest gift yet.

Buffett founded the "giving pledge" urging his fellow billionaires to give at least half of their fortunes to good causes. With a net worth of $82.5 billion, Buffett is the third richest person in the world, according to Forbes.

Last July, Buffett donated $3.4 billion to charity in his annual Berkshire stocks gift.
