OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - In a week dedicated to style, one fashion show will really standout on Thursday night.
Hundreds of models spent the day getting dressed and made up for the Cancer Survivor Night Style Show.
The survivors then got to practice walking the runway before their big show Thursday on the Fashion Week stage.
"It’s really important for them to walk the runway, it's almost like their silent testimony,” said Lori Fuches of Methodist Hospital. “They're not speaking, they're just making a statement when they walk the runway and it's really empowering for them whether they're a little child or a grown adult.”
Past events have raised more than $30,000 for the Methodist Hospital Inner Beauty Salon which helps cancer survivors across the city.
