OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) -- — The final of the Tri-Faith houses of worship is complete.

The Countryside Community Church will have a grand opening this Sunday. Thursday, KMTV got a tour of the church near 132nd & Pacific Streets.

Countryside says it's been a 5 1/2 year process; first deciding to be the Christian partner and then making that a reality.

Abraham's Bridge will connect countryside to Temple Israel and the American Muslim Institute.

“It's really opening up opportunities for peace making that haven't existed since the foundations of all 3 faiths, so Omaha is right in the heart of one of the most interesting and important projects in interfaith relationship on the planet," said Rev. Eric Elnes, Senior Minister with Countryside Community Church.

On Sunday, they'll also break ground on the Tri-Faith Center which will gather people of all 3 faiths for social events, and educational activities.
