Omaha Police confirm one person has died in a crash involving a car and motorcycle near 140th and West Center Road around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
The victim was on the motorcycle heading westbound on West Center Road.
Omaha police tell us the driver of the car drove away. The driver got about 15 blocks before police took him into custody. Omaha police also tell KMTV the driver may have been under the influence of a prescription drug or other narcotic. Of course, the investigation is still underway.
Expect detours in the area has police continue to investigate the crash.
