Omaha Fire and Rescue pulled a body at the Heartland of America Park on Thursday morning, and on Friday the man in the lake was identified as 31-year-old Hector Castaneda Vasquez.
Authorities say around 10:30 on Wednesday night somebody was seen swimming near the fountains and yelling for help.
Crews searched overnight but stopped because they needed daylight.
Crews started their search again on Thursday morning at daybreak and found after 9:30 a.m. with sonar equipment.
