OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The College World Series Opening Celebration Day will be taking place in just over a month. Organizers have released an agenda to help families plan their day and also announced which band will take the stage before the fireworks spectacular. And it's all free!
Here's a breakdown of that day's events which begin on June 14:
- Team Practices: 9:10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CDT
- Team Autograph Sessions: Each team will sign autographs for 45 minutes beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of their respective practices.
- Fan Fest: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. CDT (Lot C and Mike Fahey Street).
- Parade of Teams down Mike Fahey Street: 8:30 p.m. CDT
- Opening Ceremonies: 8:45 p.m. – 10 p.m. CDT, featuring team introductions, U.S. Air Force Wings of Blue Air Force parachute team, Eli Young Band and the fireworks finale.
