Candidates for U.S. Senate discussed the topics they would not compromise on at a debate at the Nebraska State Fair.

Senator Deb Fischer said one topic that is non-negotiable for her are abortions after 20 weeks. She said as a pro-life individual it would be very hard to ever support abortions.

Democratic challenger Jane Raybould said she would not compromise on helping senior citizens, attacking Fischer's votes on Medicare and social security. Fischer responded by saying it would not be feasible for everyone to have Medicare, saying "Medicare for all is Medicare for none."
