The debate over medical marijuana takes center stage again in the Unicameral Wednesday.
Nebraska lawmakers discussed the latest bill that would let doctors prescribe cannabis oil for those dealing with chronic pain or debilitating diseases.
The proposal would not legalize marijuana for recreation use, but some still worry about its impact on drug use.
The bill's sponsor said she crafted the bill to only include oil, pill or vapor forms of marijuana.
Opponents used filibusters to block a similar measure last year.
