A Dollar General store has been robbed three times since October, with two of those robberies in the last week.
The Dollar General store at 5636 Ames Ave. was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon, only five days after it was last hit.
Police say, around 12:45 p.m., a man in a red hooded-sweatshirt pointed a gun while demanding money before fleeing in a tan vehicle.
On Dec. 11, a man wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt robbed the store around 7:45 p.m. That suspect got away on foot.
Police are also investigating an Oct. 16 robbery where the suspect stole money from a register at knife point, and took a clerk’s cellphone.
Anyone able to help solve any of these crimes is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP.
