Omaha police said one woman was shot in a drive-by shooting near 41st and Spencer around 9:35 p.m. Monday night.
According to Omaha Police Lt. Mark Matuza, a woman and a man were sitting in a parked black Chrysler Sedan when someone driving by opened gunfire.
The woman was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Matuza said it appears the shooting was random, and does not appear to be related to two shootings that occurred Monday afternoon near Fontenelle park.
Police are working to find out what could have led to the shooting. No information on the shooter or the shooter’s vehicle is available at this time, according to Matuza.
