BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) — Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue is hosting a drive-in movie fundraiser on Thursday at Falconwood Park.

The fundraiser supports Saving Grace's work rescuing excess perishable food to feed the hungry in the Omaha community. Saving Grace says the needs are greater due to the pandemic.

The movie "Wasted! The Story of Food Waste", produced by Anthony Bourdain, will be shown at the event.

Popcorn, candy and bottled water are included with admission, according to a press release.

Attendees can purchase drinks and gourmet snack trays at the event.

Additionally, raffle prizes and other donation opportunities will be available.

Guests can bring lawn chairs to sit beside their car or watch the movie from their vehicle.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased here.
