Its undoubtedly the biggest solar eclipse watch party in the state, and people in Beatrice are pumped.

Walking around Monday morning, we spoke with people who traveled to the Homestead National Monument from Houston all the way to Northern Minnesota.

And there's no better place to take in the eclipse than at Homestead, which is a NASA watch site. By 9 a.m. the stands were packed with people eager to take in the live music and science demonstrations. It's an action-packed morning that includes everything from NASA astronaut training to a demonstration hosted by Bill Nye the Science Guy.
