OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — When a pandemic hits and you’re quarantined with a good heart and an infant and a toddler to entertain... sometimes you get creative.
One family started doing their own versions of famous movies to keep the kids entertained -- now those renditions are helping others by raising money for Feeding America.
Dan and Beth Presser live in Connecticut but Beth is originally from Omaha. They’ve raised more than $30,000 with their at-home versions of famous movies starring their kids.
Hoping to raise just a thousand dollars, that amount grew and grew and they had a few blockbusters on their hands.
With a great response, they kept the movies coming, getting friends and neighbors involved.
The Pressers have seen donations come in from around the globe including Europe, South American and even Asia.
