Emergency crews responded to a farming accident in Washington County Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened about 5 miles southwest of Kennard on County Road 40. The Washington County Sheriff's Office tells us a 76 year old man and his son were trying to load a 200 gallon tank of farm chemicals onto a trailer, when the victim and the tank fell off the trailer. The man broke his arm and cut his head when he fell. Some chemicals also spilled onto the victim, but he did not suffer any chemical burns.

The victim was transported by ambulance to an Omaha hospital for treatment.
