OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — While some Nebraskans might want the snow to go away, Taylor Seeley and his dad, Matt, can't get enough.

They make up part of Team Nebraska Snow Sculpting, which started in their front yard over a decade ago. Since then, they have competed in national snow sculpting competitions.

Near DJ’s Dugout in Aksarben Village, the pair sculpted Boo and Sully from Monsters Inc, which took a little over 24 hours of work. You can also see Mike Wazowski, among other characters.

The Seeleys are hoping to get more Nebraskans interested in snow sculpting.

"Our goal is to show people in Nebraska how cool this is, how fun it can be, how many opportunities there are for businesses to get their name out there, to sponsor us. And we'd love to have a state competition like this be a regular thing in Nebraska every single year and we would love to help facilitate that and run it and eventually compete in it,” said Taylor Seeley.

The sculptures might not last long with Wednesday's temperatures, but the Seeleys say they hope to build more when they can. Follow their work on their Facebook page.
