Security at the Douglas County Courthouse had to break up a fight between visitors attending a murder trial Wednesday.
Katherina Page, who witnessed the fight, told KMTV it was between family members of murder suspect Charles Trotter and the victims’ family.
Page said there was tension in the courtroom and about 16 people were involved.
Security officials declined to speak to KMTV.
Trotter is on trial for the shooting deaths of Marcel Lovejoy and Dexter Joseph in January last year.
Investigators said he shot them at a party at a west Omaha apartment complex.
