23 year old Christopher King of Lincoln, Nebraska was sentenced to five years in prison for his guilty plea to a theft charge. Prosecutors say King, Caine Peterson and Sarael Duncan robbed 20 year old Jacob Combs of marijuana on August 15, 2015 in Council Bluffs. Police say Combs jumped onto Peterson's vehicle as the three fled, but then was ether thrown or fell from the vehicle. Combs suffered head injuries and died later that day.

Petersen, who is from Council Bluffs, and Duncan who is from Omaha, each received 10 year sentences after making plea deals with prosecutors.
